Supervision Support

I offer reflective supervision and support for professionals working in Social Care and Health, Carers, Police and any other role which may put you at risk of burnout, stress, compassion fatigue or vicarious trauma which require support and self-care. Reflective supervision offers the opportunity to explore difficulties and issues and helps build resilience and self-awareness.

Self-care is aided through self-awareness. The more aware we are of what is going on for us, the better equipped we are to help ourselves and others. If we’re not in a good place ourselves we are less likely to be of help to others.

The more negative and challenging the external environment the more difficult it is to challenge negative thinking (Dryden & Reeves, 2014). Negativity wears down resilience and ultimately our outlook becomes far more pessimistic. Professional support can help put you back in control.

  • Anxiety

  • Disturbed sleep

  • Fatigue

  • Irritability

  • Lack of motivation

  • Less enjoyment

  • Physical and emotional exhaustion

  • Situations become more difficult to manage

  • Unexplained physical symptoms
